7/27/25 The American Dream

 I think the purpose of this was to show the struggle of a lower class POC getting into a PWI. I believe the target audience is PWI. But I also think that it would be good for white people to read this to get an understanding of what it’s like to be a POC. The context to my best understanding is paving a way for yourself in spaces that you don’t always belong or feel accepted in. 

The visuals I found interesting. The only person that was given color was POC, not white people. I understand that it is to show a difference between the two. I just believe it was an interesting choice as the illustrator.
